It has been a long time since I have taken the time to actually browse profiles. And Jessica Christ, this place has changed.
One thing that had come up repeatedly is a wholly meaningless verification.
I'm a bit of a traditionalist and I think a verification should be just that. Is the person genuine? Are they the person portrayed on their profile? How easy was is to arrange a meet? Did they turn up on time? Etc...
Now it seems people are leaving verifications like they are reviewing a washing machine on the John Lewis website.
Either that or they think it is an opportunity to give a blow by blow account at what happened at the meet.
Other than that, soooooo many are just shit. I'm paraphrasing here but it's like -
"Seen him at the bar at the recent social. He said hi. I said hi back. Lovely smile. Hope tonsay hi again soon!";
Or
"His jizz flew across the room and hit me in the eye at the themed club night. What a great guy!;
Or
"Seen this guy across the room at a social. Didn't speak but the other women all said nice things!"
In the current climate public naming and shaming is the in thing. Would it be acceptable to have a thread sharing ridiculous verifications?
Some of them are bloody hilarious.

There have always been the odd ones that can be very cheesy or flattering themselves in reverse. But fab is very much a personal service, using it as you want to, subject to being within terms and conditions.
Some veris don't get shown and that could be because some are embarrassed by what's been written
I just want to assess how reliable someone is, not their prowess etc |
