Is anyone interested in an organised group social for over 50's probably in the North West. All welcome.
My thinking is that there are many socials dotted around the country attended by many but in my experience the average age is probably 35 to 45 and while plenty 50+ peeps do go perhaps something more specifically for this age group might work.

It would be a social primarily with any fun either moving to a club or hotel

We’ve tried several times to put together a little social group in the South West for meals out, club visits, hotel party weekends etc but it just doesn't seem an overly popular idea. Always lots of initial interest but it never takes off.
We wondered if couples and singles all have their own particular interests and agendas so a social group wouldn't be of much interest?
Perhaps couples and singles find the various monthly social meets and party/club life to be enough?
Interested to read more thoughts on this if anyone wants to share?
