Melton Mowbray

Rutland water is very nice and a boat trip is relaxing. Norman Castle is worth a look at Oakham. Plenty of nice pubs and food. Depends on what you're looking for.

Thanks, much appreciated 👍 I am there to do some Osprey photography, so that is sunrise and sunset only.

Will have the daytime and late evenings free to look around at your recommendations. Would be great to meet any of the local FABbers too.

Long Eaton

Take a walk around the peninsula in the middle of the lake. Park in Hambleton, have a walk, then head to the pub for a nice pint!
