Summer get away vocations beach Uk

Hi just looking for summer ( august ) family holiday near the sea in Uk , any suggestions , some where nice sandy beach for kids , may be hire a place with a pool / hot tub ( if the weather is dismal) may Bournemouth .

As a kid use to go Margate and Brighton but that’s not I am looking for , more peaceful surroundings

Mablethorpe in Lincolnshire is lovely great beach too my kids loved it when I took them last year
