Looking to book a few nights away in Edinburgh, December time. Any recommendations on good hotels?

So many hotels to choose from ranging from budget to expensive. Edinburgh isn’t a big city so I’d go as central as your budget allows then most places will be walkable or a short taxi.

stayed in the Scotsman hotel, 1st class but expensive
