We both used to ride most weekends, some weekends would just be a ride nothing to technical.

Still have the bikes, could quite easily get back into it, we are both still reasonably fit and active it would just take a few weeks/months to condition my bum back to my seat!

Is there any "actual" getting used to it tho? Maybe i just dont get out enough (granted) but it always hurts . Did think about getting 1 of them big fat cushion seats but would look very out of place.

Keen mountain biker- race and ride XC and enduro. Also enjoy gravel rides and races plus the ever enjoyable cyclocross 🤢

Happiest on a long day in the saddle in good company.

I’m fancying a sunshine escape next month, taking a bike again for some sun, fun and whatever else.

Anyone else fancy it?

(I normally disappear to lanzarote between Xmas and new year too…bike with me to escape and ride to a nudist beach)

I’d go to Madeira any day of the week over Lanzagrote. If you’re a gravel, road or XC rider Lanzarote will do you fine but there’s nowt for enduro or gravity based riding of any value

I agree there, I’d disappear off along the coast and wild as it is.

It’s XC bike terrain really, some of the rides up into the mountains etc were good though but enduro would be overbooked.

Madeira is on the list for next year, I’m quite fancying the “trans Madeira “

Ride all over the country. Usually in my van. Own a guide company. Pro mechanic.

Happy to make riding friends in the life style.

Let's chat see where it goes.
