I have a tub! My advice is not to get one run off 13 amp socket! They are ok but you they do not have ability to run pump and heater at same time! Hence water will cool quickly when u are in it for a long time!
It’s important to set controls correctly ! I put my tub to sleep until 11:00 am ! Then when it turns on I am more likely to have pv generated by solar panels! Love my tub and not too expensive to run! Allow £20 a week min if you haven’t got solar |

We used to have one, ran off a 13amp socket and used to cost roughly £50 a month, no solar panels lol. With the current electric prices we wasn’t sure how much it would cost to run one. Didn’t really want to spend anymore than £100 a month on running it  |

I had one when I was married but don't have one now.
My electricity bill doubled but I thought it was worth it.
I then plumbed my garden tap into the hot water system and used the combi boiler to heat the water.
It worked out much cheaper.
For example, If I switched it off on a Friday night and it was 38C, when I wanted to go back in on Saturday evening, it had dropped to 29C.
I would then drain 25% to 35% of the tub and then refill it using the hot water from the garden tap.
If you want cold water from the hose, you just switch off the power to the boiler.
It takes a bit of tweaking to get the temperature right, but eventually you'll get good at it! |

i have an 8 person inground one outside next to my swimming pool.. it used to be about £150 per month to run it and teh pool.. I changed the heater to an airsource one now its about £60 per month to run.. obviously more expensive in winter than summer to heat and chemicals add to the price too.. |
