"don't think she doing them anymore if you mean darlo think she was out of pocket on Last one so she said she not doing them anymore xx"

How can she lose money when she has 40+ people attending at a tenner a pop. If she is paying for venue hire bringing in people who are guaranteed to drink she is a mug

No thanks, don't have the time or thr inclination to herd 50 pairs of people around town but it can be done without taking a massive loss

Well you feel free to pay £500 for the venue, £185 for a DJ £70 for door/stamp vendor plus the prizes bought for raffle.

40 ppl at 10 a pop doesn't even cover the venue.

I never held them to make a profit, but managing to cover the outgoings would have been nice.

I've never held a Newcastle walk about town one.

Mine was in a safe space with security and outside the public eye!

Anyone that wants to try and do one is more than welcome but after being so out of of pocket it wouldn't ever be me again.

Then make it £20 fee then you cover everything.

I’m sure everyone won’t mind paying a little extra. I certainly won’t mind paying the right amount.

Perhaps ask Booty. Problem is they're limited

Sorry to hear that. We absolutely loved it and really appreciated all the effort you went through to arrange it. Must have been a total pain in butt and not in a good way Please know we appreciated your efforts and let critics pass you by - eg The guy above moaning but not willing to do it himself!

Why do you feel the need to hire out a venue be good enough to meet in a bar surely plenty of them. Or go to Durham instead

Because ppl open their mouths and loose lips let all the public know its a swinging event. And then the public kick off.. seen it happen and ppl banned from pubs.

So with almost 20 yrs of hosting experience I'll stick to privately hired venues. Just not in the NE any longer
