How far would you travel for a meet?

With my ex, we travelled from Swansea to Brighton for a meet.
We were looking for a weekend break and there was a female half of a couple from Brighton we’d been chatting to for ages in the chat room of another site, always had great fun, so when she suggested meeting up we booked a hotel in Brighton for that weekend. All we’d agreed was a social meet and a drink on the Friday. Turned into a fantastic weekend of fun. |

When I was part of a couple we traveled 140 miles.
We were let down
Put up a post saying this
One ignorant twat posted must be desperate
What the ignorant twat didn't know was it was my home town where I own a house.
I posted him a few choice words and received a ban
The ignorance of some people on here beggars believe

Travelled to Birmingham from Sheffield. I had been talking to them for weeks. Sent text before I set off & got a positive response. Sent text when I got to the pub - no response. They didn't turn up. No answer by phone & they deleted their fab profile. |

Given where we live we find we have to travel for most meets, party in Kent is still furthest (opposite end of the country) but we make a weekend of ut and also fit in a club if we can, love a road trip  |

I had made plans to travel from south Wales to Manchester and Burnley for meets. He got cold feet just after I booked hotels and coaches.
Also had Birmingham meet, which was no show. In this case I was in area anyway.
So now I say no longer then 2 hrs public transport
