We went to Leysdown beach yesterday, the weather was stunning, yet only 3 other people were there.
We had heard its gone very quiet due to the car parking being taken away, it's so sad. Why doesn't Swale council just take over the old land opposite the beach, install monitored pay for parking with cctv (facing the parking not the nudist beach, privacy intact). That would stop any untowards behaviour etc.
On a side note, if you go, be aware that a bald asain man was hanging around dressed, when I went for a beach walk he sneaked up to my partner and took a photo on his phone before leaving rapidly. |

Sadly your experience is underpopulated naturist beaches is not unusual, the clothes free lifestyle is not as popular as it once was.
On the note of the lurker with a camera,he is playing a dangerous game....... |

haven't been there since before covid, how have they taken the parking away, have they just let it overgrow, the road to it was very rough but passable with care, was thinking of popping over this weekend |

The farmer owns the land to the right hand side, so he has dug a long trench all the way along opposite the beach.
You can only park right down the bottom now and it holds about 8 cars in total.
The other option is to park by the little shack and walk for 45 mins to the beach.
So we can only assume everyone has given up. |

shame because it was convenient to park and walk up the bank and you were on the beach, St Osyths is a fair trek and I've been up to my neck in water after standing on a board thinking it was a stepping point only to find there wasn't anything underneath it apart from water |
