I got mine done when I was 18, for a dare/bet of £40. I haven't looked back since! I enjoy wearing it and it has led to people wanting to experience it just for the sake of it.
If people ask, I can take it out but if they're brave enough to try with me wearing it then they prefer with each time. I dunno if that says more about me or the PA though! 
It doesn't affect safe sex and it's perfectly fine. One thing I will say us you need to clean it often and make sure all screws are done tight as you don't want to lose it it someone...  |

Don't worry, they start you off small with 1.6mm thickness rather than my 8/10mm. The reason mine is so large is due to comfort, but you can just stay at 1.6mm if it's good for you! |
