Hi so I’ve got tonsillitis i’m on antibiotics and taken ibuprofen has anyone else got any tips to reduce the pain and swelling also drinking lots of cold water

Gargle aspirin - get the dissolving stuff and go for it. Works really well!

Horrible thing to have, I got it about 3 times but not for years. Last time I got quinsy from it as I was misdiagnosed, was very ill in hospital, so always say to people to keep close eye in it

If antibiotics don't seem to be working, contact Doctor sooner, than later.
