We'll be visiting Oxford next Saturday, (12th) planning to visit the castle and Ashmolean, then staying in Faringdon over night, but don't know what to do/where to go on the Sunday. Can anyone recommend anywhere, preferably historical. |

I can thoroughly recommend the Pitt Rivers Museum, just across the road from the Ashmolean. So much to see in there.
But if you're at Faringdon (and it's a nice day) then you could always visit the Uffington White Horse. |

We actually live 5 mins from Faringdon, in a nearby village.
Pitt rivers is very good, as is white horse hill suggested above. If you’re in faringdon then make sure you check out the folly to - the last one built in England.
We’re actually probably walking our puppy on white horse hill that Sunday so might bump into you if you go |
