Central Edinburgh/Central Manchester

Planning to be in Manchester mid to late February for a few days. Which hotels are best for guests to bypass reception etc

Britannia Manchester has always been easy for guests coming to my room to get in (up until the main doors are locked at 11pm/Midnight)…whereas other hotels have been a nightmare as reception is at the door or every floor has secure doors…

Any recommendations?

Is this good access 24/7?

Tower Bridge South

I always use a serviced apartment in Manchester. No reception to worry about and you get much more space. Premier Suites on Shude Hill is good.

Thanks all. Only downside with Britannia is is very outdated and has needed a big revamp for decades but best part is the lifts are immediately as you walk in & reception well hidden behInd the stairs. Also very central. Will look at the suggestions however so far looks like it might have to be Britannia again..

Definitely the serviced apartments option as mentioned above.

If you are out of the centre village hotels are quite good too
