Cheltenham

We are due to watch the Liverpool v Villa game on Sat 11th Dec. We are wanting to book a nice hotel or apartment which is reasonably priced and in a good location. We also need advice on best area to go for a few bars in the evening? We generally prefer a more classy area rather than stag/hen do areas if possible!

Thank you

X

With Liverpool at home and xmas party season you may struggle to get reasonably priced

I would look at malmaison, raddison, melia, crown plaza etc by Albert Dock / old hall street areas or the titanic which is a bit out of town

Loads of good pubs and bars around that way. The ship & mire is a great pub.

Dale street is also the gay district which is always lively.

Matthew street is just round the corner as well

Dec 2021 is very expensive! So had a book a cheaper one called Boudoir on Bold Street in Ropewalk?

Hopefully the area is ok

Top end of town is only 10 min walk so not to bad, but St Thomas st is central.

As long as you’re anywhere central, you’ll be fine. Liverpool is always a good night out, countless bars, restaurants and clubs, although as already said Mathew Street is Stag/hen do central.

We’re going on the 27/11 for a much overdue weekend back there. If we come across any really good or really bad places, we’re happy to pm them to you.

I can imagine not, but are there any particular places in the city where swingers tend to hangout, just after alittle naughtiness on a normal night out. Townhouse is off the cards for the night we're going

Air bnb would probably be your best bet at that time of year can get some good deals!

There’s plenty of nice bars and restaurants. What sort of food would you be wanting can suggest some good ones
