We are planning on visiting Holkham Nudist Beach next week as part of a holiday weather permitting but knackered knee limits the distance male can walk, does anyone know how far the walk is from the car park or a better place to park to shorten the hobble.
Any advice greatly appreciated |

Was at Holkham beach a couple of weeks ago and would agree with what has been said so far, it is a fair walk to the nudist area. If you were able to park at the very end of the car park that leads to the beach, it would reduce your walk but it is still probably about a 10/15 minute walk once at the beach. Really nice beach though. |

You don't have to walk along the beach. The clothes-optional area can more easily be reached by walking along the treeline path, cutting across the trees at the birdhide, and walking along the boardwalk to the dune-side treeline path.
dragons.spooked.redeeming = start of treeline path
domain.youth.tonsils = birdhide/boardwalk
league.total.throwaway = next treeline path
diner.colleague.indulges = clothes-optional beach
Still a tough walk though !! |

I know the nudist beach well. More like 1.25 miles from the carpark where you turn left to walk through the pine forest. Pretty flat until you reach the dunes. There is a visitor centre with toilets and a cafe. Bring everything you need i.e water, a shelter( it can be very breezy), food. Note the sand has some broken shell in it and you may see horses with their riders in the sea. You can bring a dog. £9 to pay at a meter all day, bring silver coin too. Have a delicious crab meal after in Wells, a mile or two up the road. Along this coast you can buy samphire or sea asparagus in the summer and at Morston Quay go out in a boat to see the seals. Enjoy the beautiful north Norfolk coast and overnight!! |
