Where would you go for your first club experience?

Does anyone have any recommendations for the best club to visit if you’ve never been to one before? Might not want to do anything but would like somewhere that is relaxed and fun and would ease me and my husband into it gently! Happy to travel and make a weekend of it - would actually prefer not to go anywhere too close to home to avoid seeing anyone we might know!

Oldbury

Xtasia in Birmingham was the first club we visited and was fantastic for easing us into the scene.

There’s also Chameleons in Darlington which isn’t too far away from Xtasia. Could visit both on the same weekend.

"Can you just watch as a new couple?"

100% yes - so long as you aren't trying to beat down a locked door in order to do so!

Never, ever is there an obligation to do more than just be present in a place.

OP - i agree with all so far. Xtasia is the right mix of social area, play rooms, relaxed atmosphere. Night club feel, so have a few drinks, have a dance, have a wander and get involved as much or as little as you like!

Newbury

You could plan a weekend in London and mix a great weekend away with a cheeky visit to Le Boudoir.

It’s a classy club and a great place to go for a first time visit as you can just soak up the atmosphere if you decide you just want to learn more about the swinging scene.

Drop us a note if you want more tips.
