I’m looking at buying some more rope at the end of the month. The main purpose is for rope corsets so I’m looking for somewhere that does a verity of lengths and colors. We live in Birmingham but don’t mind traveling to but the rope.

Thank you in advance for all your help xxxx

There’s the BBB. Birmingham bizarre bazaar ( they have a FB page).

They have a monthly showcase of different sellers and stalls that meet up at the Nightingale Club in Brum.

Honestly, Amazon!

I get my Japanese bondage rope from there at a great price and quick delivery.

But that me.

I have some great red silk rope for bondage which doesn’t rub your skin. I think I bought it on EBay.

Cheaprope.co.uk - really!!

6mm hemp rope is always 6mm hemp rope but it's a lot cheaper if you don't buy it from a bondage related website.

Yes, cheap rope they also sell jute and hempex, you may need to put a little work into the rope to prepare it such as boiling, wearing it in and flamingnit and if you want to dye it you can with natural fiber dye

"Marine supply shops (chandlers)."

This. Colour, size, material I don't think you can beat the opportunity to touch and hold rope before you buy. Plus, it's a fun activity shopping for your kinks.

I've c had fun lingerie shopping as well. I might do the research online but I prefer to buy in person.

My experience:

1) used to get 6mm synthetic hemp from a peer rope group. just the job and cheap. Also sell emergency cutting scisissors.

2) bought b&q rope. Too hard and scratchy. Washed to soften but it lost it's shape. Now binned.

3) marine chandlery rope is generally not the right sort, too abrasive and expensive.

4) fetish market (BBB) lots of suitable rope. Bought natural hemp. Works well but has an odour.

5) cheaprope.co.uk clearly caters for the bandage market. Bought 48 metres of synthetic hemp. Good price and arrived next day.
