I hate that expression (you know, great body...but her face).
I recently (well not that recently) went on a date with a girl who used the phrase to describe herself and I was astounded. It was a bit sad. She did have an incredible figure, and was a good looking girl. But mad to think that some people can’t appreciate the allure of their figure. |

Some, well loads of people have very low self esteem. It's rife actually. There are unfortunately a lot of phrases designed to help those people and others reinforce their opinion.
One that used to be widely used was "nice legs, shame about the face".

I can't think of any that refer to men.
I'm not a man so can't speak from their perspective but their does seem to be an assumption that a woman's worth is somehow tied up in how she looks |
