Hi everyone. Mr is due to be heading over to the UK (from Ireland) in a few weeks for work.

What is the deal with Covid restrictions and hotels etc? I know some are open but if you are resident can you get food and drinks??

All the hotels I've used for work recently have been room service only

I’m staying in London for work.

Breakfast is a grab and go set up well organised by staff.

Bar is closed and limited evening meals available. Meals are eaten in your room.

It’s a bit weird, but staff are doing all they can to make it comfortable and safe for everyone

Get him on Deliveroo or just eat, I use these as most Hotels have a basic room service menu due to reduced kitchen staff....there’s only so many nights you can eat the hotel lasagne

Recent stay in Marriott was room service only which was fine. The helpings were large so you needed a good appetite.
