We were planning on visiting Scotland or Wales from 31st dec until 3rd jan but due to COVID19 rules that will not be happening, can anyone recommend a nice place to visit in England T1 areas ![](/icons/rainbow.png) |

"The only tier 1 areas are Herefordshire, Cornwall, Isle of Wight, Isle of Scilly. Will they welcome visitors from higher tier areas ? "
Yeah that’s a good question, we are in T2 atm, we are looking for a nice secluded cabin and lots of country walks to keep as safe as possible but obviously will double check governments advice on travelling closer to date ![](/icons/s/wink.gif) |

"sorry but you are NOT ALLOWED !!!"
This isn't true. I have just been reading the government advice. People in tier 2 can travel to tier 1 with people in their household and can stay in a hotel or other accommodation providing they follow tier 2 rules whilst in tier 1. |

Thank you I’ve just read uk gov guidelines and we’re good to go, only T3 is not allowed ![](/icons/s/biggrin.gif) |
