Well we like it. It tends to be the kind of place where you go for a couple of drinks rather than stay all night and there are a lot of people passing through due to the location.
They do a great pint of Black Sheep and the food is not bad, though a pretty limited menu.
There's a pretty good winebar about 50 yards to the right of the main entrance called Jalou. Its a bit on the pricey side but its worth it if you want something a bit nicer. There's also a Wetherspoons further down if you dont. Its huge with loads of different styles of room.

The weekend you are here is Newcastle Pride so some places will be very busy.
Depending on the type of food that you like, there are some great places, to go xx |
