Depends on how much you want to spend as Bristol is very expensive. Clifton, Redland and the central (BS1) areas are close but the most expensive. Southville, Bedminster, Totterdown, St George, Montpelier, St Werburghs and St Andrews/Bishopston are good areas and not too far away. |

The Easton and st Paul's etc of old are long gone..it's all much safer and less troublesome than of the 80s and 90s in terms of your personal safety..i walk through regularly in the wee small hours and outs perfectly fine..
The only thing I'll say is you still probably wouldn't go out and leave your downstairs windows open
But their aren't too places these days that you would are there? |
