I am guessing based on the guidance and the Boris plan...technically the entertainment industry, that is bars, pubs, nightclups etc are included as part of the July relaxation but will have to observe social distancing to be allowed to open. Non essential shops can open in June.
IMHO I think the shop could open after 1st June but the cinema would have to wait until July...unless the cinema is included as part of the shop and has social distancing measures.
As I assume you are part of the same household you two could sit together but everyone else would need to be 2m away. |

There is a changing room so the latter is always possible. The former may be an issue but I would ask staff if it is permissable. |

Latest update for patrons...some work is taking place in preparation for reopening but no date given as shop unlikely to open without cinema.
The adjacent bar is intending to open again in July. |

Been told Foxy Lady will reopen Friday 10th July at 11am...all customers are welcome old and new. There will be some restrictions in place in line with government guidance. |

I believe there is a notice on the door. It is not shut permanently but issues arose about its opening which need to be resolved.

The venue has been cleaned up and tidied and a lot of redecoration taken place. There are still things to do but it is improving. There have been a good number of people in of all sexes since last week. |

The bar is a separate business but normally open from about 4pm. If you were referring to the downstairs club it isn't open at all. |

Admission is £11 and it is open 11 to 9 ish each day except Sundays which is midday to 4pm. Free entry for couples. Single ladies free too but entry needs to be with someone. |

We've been visiting the cinema for a while now and enjoy it but find it frustrating that the opening hours don't seem to matter. We make arrangements to travel in and make meets but then it's just closed without warning.
Shame because we like the place but gonna have to start going elsewhere at this rate. |

To the best of my knowledge you are required to wear a mask, track and trace details are required and the venue is socially distanced in accordance with guidance. The refurb is not complete as yet. No other restrictions are in place. |

UPDATE...
During lockdown there was some water damage affecting the shop and cinemas. Repair work is currently ongoing and drying out of the building continues. As soon as the work is completed and the venue is thoroughly dry, it will reopen.
Patrons need to bear with the venue as you will appreciate such work does take time.
Personal view is that the work may mean a September or October reopening. |
