Just wondered how everyone is feeling about the likelihood that all nonessential International travel is likely to be prohibited for the next 18 to 24 months while a vaccine is created, tested and manufactured for whole of the world. Will you be making plans to holiday in the UK? |

If that happens, it will be awful for me as my whole family lives in Ireland and I won’t be able to see them at all. Apart from visiting them, I don’t holiday abroad in the traditional sense, so it wouldn’t make a difference to me. |

"Yes, we've discussed holidays, maybe a Devon and Cornwall roadtrip. We've never been to Lands End, Newquay, Cheddar Gorge or Bath."
Ooh nice, we did that area last year, very picturesque. (some very narrow roads though) |

I hear you,but with vaccine trials morally taking upto 8 years to reach approval on humans, even if they rush thru and break all the normal rules it will be at least 18months to create enough vaccine for 7.8billion people and be safe in the knowledge you will not get sick abroad.I think it is probably better to adjust to the likelihood that vacations will be within realms of the UK.Still better than the current lockdown |

Looks like England will be relaxing restrictions by the 10th May but will likely introduce a 2 week quarantine for visitors to our shores which I would expect to be the same world wide.Seems little point traveling abroad if you have to stay in quarantine for 2 weeks before you can start your holiday? |
