Yes Hawksbill beach is one of our favs....all beaches are public so you can walk through to the beach....bus from St johns used to go that far. Also some nice beaches around the end of Jolly harbour by the new big seafront houses........not been there foe a few years though ![](/icons/s/cool.gif) |

Is it still nice on the beach, do they still have the hut to sit in?
I used to stay at the Grand Royal Antigua at least 15 times a year, but was fairly run down towards the end so move else where.
You could walk from there to Hawksbill ![](/icons/s/cool.gif) |

The Grand Royal has now been updated (Royalton Resort) and looks amazing! Total renovation.
Eden beach is still lovely, although the palm trees have lost their tops due to hurricanes... The hut is still there, but the roof needs to be re-tiled. |

"Booked for early November 2021. So we can maximise time on Eden beach we have decided to stay at Hawksbill."
hawksbill was the last 3 years holidays back in the day when you could take them. Can’t wait to get back there. Very very chilled place quaint and colonial |
