Staying in Arillas to use the naturist beach leaving vanilla friends on textile lol
Shame not alone ??"
Hi guys, we’re considering Sidari or Arillas from 5th-12th Sep (having to change plans as due to go to Majorca)
Been to many Smaller Greek Islands but not this area of Corfu, can you recommend which resort is best to stay and any nice accommodation? Don’t want too rowdy, We like nice, quiet beaches (Textile or not) with tradition Greek tavernas? Thank you, Mrs H Xx |

We like San Stefanos, just down the road from Arillas. Very similar, more like a village feel. Mostly self catering but plenty of eating places and bars and fairly quiet at the moment. Little Prince are nice apartments. The beach and sea are lovely and down to your right, at the end , you will find some nudies |

It is a quieter holiday than GC! We don't eat until late, so normally out late. I can see why they are doing it though |

"How about health insurance.is the e111 still in use ? "
Yes the ehic card can be used until the end of the year. Your travel insurance is valid, unless the Foreign office advise against travel to a country, it's worth checking your policy to see if you're covered for situations arising from Covid. |

Hiya,
We are staying in Corfu from 3rd until 14th, got flights booked but not accommodation.
Would love to hear of recommendations to stay....looking for quietish....but not an isolated hotel....small town / village, great beaches with nudist sections. |

Hi folks,
Out here in Corfu atm enjoying the great weather (although the past two days have been overcast).
For those travelling out this way in the near future, (mid-late Sept 2020), there are approx 10 profiles popping up on ‘Who’s near’. They’re a mixture of couples and single males.
I’m staying near Arillas and am enjoying it.
It’s a quieter area with genuine Greek tavernas and restaurants serving authentic Greek food and local alcohol. You can of course opt for pizzas etc but the Greek food is amazing.
To get here from the airport is a 50 minute drive.
It’s well worth renting a car at the airport and making your own way, just use the maps function of your mobile to help you find the way. Alternatively there are at least two companies next to Coconut bar that rent everything from a bicycle to cars.
Along the waterfront there are approx 15 restaurants/tavernas interspersed with low rise hotels overlooking the sea. It’s not a big set-up by any means, however if you simply want to chill and unwind its perfect.
A lovely long beach with a perfect nudist area to the far right. Just walk onto the beach and turn right... to get to the nudist area from the mini market on the seafront (situated around the corner from ‘Coconut’ bar) it’s a 10 min walk along the beach. There are two rock formations jutting out into the sea and when the tide is in, the water can be up to your waist as you make your way to the nudist area. However when the tide is out the water is no higher than your knees.
The rock formation creates a nice ‘border’ between the clothed section of the beach and the nudist section. It appears normal to strip off once you’ve passed the rock formation and left the clothes section behind.
If you walk to the very end of the beach (having turned right) it’s very private for any fun you may wish to have.
The water is very clean although a storm passed through yesterday so there is a fair bit of sea in the water and on the sand today.
There are no sunshades or sun-beds for rent on the nudist section so just make do with a towel. You can buy sunshades at the local mini market for between €9 and they are perfectly suitable. Carry it with you, and set up underneath.
For those of you more interested in a resort with much more tourists, countless bars blaring loud music, restaurants serving mediocre food and annoying staff trying to beckon you into their restaurant which they claim serves only the freshest of food (when in fact it’s tinned veg and bangers and mash), head to Sidari , which is only a 20 min drive from Arillas.
Arillas , as I said is very laid back, relaxing and has a wonderful (relaxing) nudist beach. There is one bar (Coconut) with music (some nights with live performances) ....Sidari , on the other hand is a mini Magaluf. Whatever takes your fancy.
Average age of those here in Arillas atm is mid 50’s I would suggest and predominantly German. There are also a relatively small number of tourists.
Sidari has a wider age variance and has many more British and Irish and a lot more tourists.
Curfew: Everything is still shutting exactly at midnight due Covid. (Mid Sept 2020).
Hope that helps.
Enjoy wherever you decide to go.

"Great write up. We normally stay in San Stef, but changed it to next year. Been going 15 years. Nudist beach there too "
I had forgot to mention that a lot of the hotels are either not showing or showing as ‘Sold Out’ on Expedia. It’s not that they’re sold out, it’s simply that they’ve closed their businesses early this season (that’s assuming they even opened at all).
So it is far quieter that one would expect. There are hotel swimming pools with one or two couples or singles at most.
Sure isn’t that all fabbers need
Edit on previous post: It should have read ... there’s lots of ‘Sea’ in the water and on the beach. Damn predictive text doing its thing as per usual
Enjoy your holiday next year |

Have to say your description of Sidari is out of order, not sure what restaurants you have used, but there are many that have a beautiful menu.
"mini Magaluf", hardly! Not one nigbtclub there. |

You saved us the trouble of writing this.
The Hive is hardly a bangers and mash restaurant, we'd go as far to say it's a high class cocktail bar/restaurant.
The only food pub type places that I can think of that sells this type of food is the smugglers and baze bar which are the only Brit bars in the resort.
Sidari is a fantastic family resort that tries to cater for everyone in our humble opinion.
Just to add ... we've never eaten in a restaurant that serves frozen veg, everything is fresh and extremely tasty. |

"You have to fill in day before and get your code midnight they said to us but got it at 10pm
Thank you x "
Also.... if you are travelling to Corfu during the time period the email containing the code would ordinarily be sent to you, (meaning you cannot access your emails because you’re on a flight), then the original email you’ve received from them (which was simply an acknowledgment of your application) is sufficient on arrival at Corfu airport. (As of Mid Sept 2020).
What they use the QR code for is to link you to a swab they may take from you on your arrival at the airport. The method of testing they do at the airport in Corfu is simply a long ‘ear-bud’ type which they place on the back of your tongue for a second or two.
They then place that in a tube to be analysed and it’s that tube which is linked to your QR code.
You’ll receive a text message soon after asking you to limit your travel for the first 24 hours while in Corfu.
If you’re negative, you’ll receive no further correspondence from them.
It’s very straightforward.

Hi guys,
we’ve booked Corfu for mid June staying 2 weeks. 1st week in Dassia and the second in Kassiopi.
My wife wants her first swinging/hotwife experience on holiday and we were hoping you could give us some pointers.
Are the nude beaches active or just voyeur? Also would chastity be inappropriate? It’s our 1st time on a nudist beach also.
Wel be looking for a young bull. Are there any swingers clubs or dedicated bars in the north east of the island or would an app be better such as tinder or fab obviously?
TIA |

I'm not aware of any swingers clubs or bars. You may find some play, discretely,on some nudist beaches, but they are mainly just naturist areas. There are no official nudist beaches, but it seems acceptable if you go right out of the way of the textiles! |

What would be the best way to find a bull on the island?

hi from corfu. I am local.
1) There are many areas you can go swimming naked. There are nudist beaches north, west and south. Most of them are active.
2) Go with the flow. It is a matter of chemistry.
3) There are no swinging clubs or bars. But you can find many people interested in sex.
4) Keep an eye on swinging sites. You will find people for sex |
