Well it depends on where you are going in Phuket? We can unfortunately only tell you about Patong. We went last year and going again on the 11th as we loved it so much.

Bangla road is most definitely the place to go if you love the party life. It's mad, but in a good way

We made it our base as we left to go to Phi Phi islands for 3 days and that was wonderful. Cheap but wonderful, from there you can go to Bamboo Island or other Islands but wherever you go it's full of beautiful clean beaches but none of the amazing manic madness of Patong.

You will find the best things to do once you get there, I promise.

As a little but important tip. DON'T EXCHANGE MONEY OVER HERE. You get so much better exchange rate in any Currency exchange along the street in Phuket.
