Give the live sex shows a very wide berth. They will try to suck you in with free admission and all sorts of promises but then when you get inside they will tell you that the show starts after you have bought a drink for the hostess. Need I say more?
Oh! and if you take a walk down Herbertstasse you will have to leave the Mrs outside, but again be careful. There are a lot of east European girls that hover around the entrance and they (and their pimps) can be quite aggressive. If you want a working girl stick to the ones who are in the windows on the street itself.
There are a few clubs around the city and the cab fare will be a lot less than the hostess drink.
