You must be vaccinated against rabies if you are going to be involved in outdoor activities, like adventure travel and caving, in remote areas. Cases have been mainly from dog bites in the North Eastern and Southern regions.

If yoy give a few months notice.

Depends really.

I know people who have lived there out for over 10 years without any.

It's all just a precaution and depends what you're doing and where you go; It's bot quite the third world country it was once. Most people don't even really have problems with mosquitos.

Erdington

Actually, I have just come back from spending two weeks over there (magical place....)

Anyway I went to my doctors before I went, and was told that you don't need any injections, so I didn't bother.

If you're not sure, then double check with your own docs ??

Depends where you are going so you need to see the travel nurse at your doctors some injections are free and those that are not are very reasonable
