Hi we will be travelling to Mexico in May and are considering staying at a swingers resort or nudist resort and would be interested in people’s experinces and recommendation on the best one?? We are not Barbi and Ken types so more looking for a place for people are age late 40s.

We've been to Desire Riviera three times and Temptation once (going back in a couple of weeks time). If you want to be naked then go to Desire. Temptation is only topless and they are not keen if you try to get naked. At Desire there is playing going on around the jacuzzi on the big day beds or in the playroom behind the nightclub but there's no pressure to swing, many guests don't.
There are more people at Temptation with a younger crowd and seven restaurants instead of three but the pool and Jacuzzi close at 7pm so it's eating, drinking and dancing after that. I miss gazing up at the stars from the large rooftop Jacuzzi until 3am (whilst getting a blowjob) like you can at Desire. The jacuzzi there even has a swim up bar.
There are plenty of swingers at Temptation but it's an 'undergound' scene which takes place in their rooms. |

Who do you book through? The prices seem crazy standalone without the purchasing power of a tour operator. £6 to £7K for a fortnight in March excluding flights! |

We use Kenwood Travel in London. Their website allows you to price up Desire and Temptation including flights. We paid £2900 for 2 people for 9 nights at Temptation including flights. Since we book a transfer taxi at the taxi desk on on arrival in Cancun for less than £100, the whole holiday costs less than £3000 since there is no tipping and no extras. Having said that the american guests still seem to tip the barstaff.
Desire RM is about £500 more expensive.

Before refurb we payed 1200 each with flights. That was with Thomas cook. 5 days after leaving it shut was a good two weeks though add things like demolition parties. He won't pay what there asking now. It's not the best hotel or beach in Cancun but the vibe is the best. We always tip as it was a good price. The only downer is too many Americans in one place but tbh don't see many on a night as too d*unk from afternoon lol xx |

Hi, we haven't been before but have booked Desire Pearl for the last 2 weeks in June. We did some research and found out that this resort tended to have an older age group than either Desire Riveria or Temptations. |
