Its quieter than Negril or Ocho Rios. Really depends on the time of year you visit. Negril is ideal for partying, montego bay for lovers and mature natured individuals, Ocho Rios for families i would say. Dont get stuck in a hotel. Find a JUTA taxi and have them take you around to see the real Jamaica. You will love it.

If u like sea food, little ochi in St Elizabeth is a must go. If u like rustic escapes to nature, hotel called Jake's in Treasure Beach. If u want party you go Negril. Hedo 2 if u like nude beach. Ocho Rios if you came with the family. Montego Bay for more mature experience. This is more about the hotel themes in the different areas. Kingston for the more cultural experience. Or just ask a taxi driver to be your tour guide for your stay. Find a cheap bed anywhere and pay the driver to show you the real sites. He will negotiate prices for you and get you the best deals. Warning you when you being ripped off and show you the real hidden treasures of the island.

We have already booked our hotel but we are close so will be spending time in Hendo, is there excursions we can get on like boat parties etc? Or other lifestyle type activities.

We are staying in Lucea from the 5th - 20th Sept and wondered if anyone was around during this time frame?

We will be travelling around so Negril, Montego Bay areas are not an issue.

Wherever you go in Jamaica you will have fun. If your not staying at Hedo you can still visit, get a day pass and use their excursion facilities

The nude catamaran out of Hedo over to Ricks Cafe is lots of fun. There’s so much that goes on at Hedo day and night you don’t want to leave, do a day and night pass if you can.
