Hi guys.

Well the best advice we can give to make sure you bring plenty of money. Thailand is not the cheap holiday it used to be. We are in Patong as we speak, a small beer is just under £2, a large beer is just under £4, cocktails and spirits are all about £5. Food wise well just going out for breakfast is £14 every day for both of us, then dinner or lunch is around the same maybe a little bit more expensive but that depends on the restaurant you go to. The prices we just quoted are your run of the mill food bars, nothing posh. The watersports (ooh err) on the beach are pricey too, £50 for half hour on the jetski or £50 to go paragliding.

But please don't let that put you off, it is absolutely amazing here. So glad we came.

We are going to Phi Phi islands for a couple of days, it looks like paradise.

Love Phi Phi.. a little more expensive than Patong.. just remember there is an entry fee to get onto the island 20 baht each last time we went. Enjoy it's lovely and quiet in the evening when all the day boats have gone.
