Dry but hot. April is the hottest month, and March is the second or third. Expect the average maximum temperature in Bangkok to be over 35C. The highlands in the north are cooler – have a look at Chiang Mai. The sand on beaches will be too hot to walk on in bare feet, and the sea water will be warm.
Your hotel, taxis, bars, etc. are all air-conditioned, but doing things outdoors during the early afternoon isn’t very pleasant.
On the plus side, it is the cheapest period for tourists because there are relatively few visitors. Hotel prices will be at rock-bottom.

I'm contemplating Thailand over Xmas through New years but not in the slightest bit interested in the sex trade. I was wondering if there are any swingers clubs out there and where? Any advice would be helpful. xxx |

There are no swingers clubs in Thailand it's very much frowned upon.
There is a swingers hotel in Pattaya that would be nearest thing to a club think it's a nudist hotel |

Swinging is illegal in Thailand, and the law is enforced.
The nearest things to swingers' clubs in Thailand are the nudist resorts (Google). But the one in Pattaya was closed down (again) by the police in April, and I don't know if it has re-opened again yet.
There is a naturist beach at Samuis.
