We’ve been here 3 days and finding it very warm but not much to do at night so hopefully off to hurghada town tonight. We’re about 20mins away from hurghada town/ marina |

I hope it’s good for you. We did a trip to hurghada bazaar and it was bizarre ?? taxi took us to his relatives shop and coherenced us into buying from his shop. Basically just be switched on if you go out of your resort. We are now going to spend the rest of the week inside our hotel and sunbathing ???? |

You were victims of a big scam I'm afraid...taxi drivers try to pull the same thing all the time. They ask where you want to go and tell you that your choice isn't a good place to go and they suggest that they will take you to "a nicer little shop/hotel/restaurant/tour." they work on a commission for the said businesses so it's in their interests to get you there. A stern reply of "LA! " (NO!!) and repeat where you want to go and they will take you to your original choice. |

Yeah in Cairo lol
Went to see pyramids, got taxi to them. We pulled up and he said "would you like to take camel ride?" replied "yeah" and he took off again back into city centre to a dodgy area to get camel ride sorted. Into a dodgy building, waiting for what seemed like forever to then get piled into a jeep, back to Giza to then wait another half hour for the camels to turn up. So now I always just reply with a stern no lol |

I would just check reviews if you book in the uk and it gives you an opportunity to have a think. We are booking with the rep because we just don’t want the hassle anymore and they prefer Euro,s here on a lot of things. It’s costing us €45 each to do the Luxor day trip by coach |

Luxor is a lovely place. Plenty to see there, valley of the Kings, valley of the queen's, karnak temple, colossi of me non etc. If you are staying overnight enquire about hot air balloon ride at sunrise, its an unbelievable experience. Again nightlife is non exists outside of what is on site at your hotel. |
