6 months in Dortmund recommendations?
Jump to: Newest in thread
On the outskirts of Dortmund is club Schickeria. It is a nice club and we used to go there quite often but it started to get a bit young for us in there, or we just got too old LOL. You should be OK though.
www.schickeria-dortmund.de
There is also a BDSM club Bedo Studio, not really our scene but looking at your pics you may like it. www.bedostudio.com/
If you have transport then there are lots of other clubs within around a half hour drive.
That part of NRW has the best concentration of quality clubs in the whole of Germany which also means the whole of Europe.
If you need any more info PM us and I can send you more links for the surrounding area. |

Could be worth while joining joyclub. Good app similar to fab but better in my opinion.be able to find clubs/saunas etc in your area.
I've been using it since I came to Germany last year and found some good times from it. |

Thanks for this. Yes we’re aware of this, especially frequenting Gran Canaria, it’s got a fair bit of exposure there in the Dutch/German venues.
Hoping to get some responses of people who have visited these clubs and see if any get recent kudos. Failing this, we’ll certainly take a look there. Thanks for the reply and reminder. |

We live around 30 mins from Dortmund and have used most of the swinger clubs in the area, although not the BDSM ones.
In Dortmund itself there is only one swinger club (the above mentioned Schickeria) two BDSM clubs, and (like everywhere) a few porno kino's (not our scene either)
There are many others a short distance away but you would need access to a car.
If you have transport you could look at "Steinenhaus" at Hattingen "Faro 8" at Marl "Caesars Palace" Sprockhovel "P3" Bochum and, a bit further away, "Life club" at Gescher. Which is now the only couples only club in the area.
Smaller clubs in the area include "Treff 83 at Witten "Riju" at Castrop Rauxel and "Swing Inn" at Datteln.
Sadly since I last posted on this thread we have lost a few, including one of our favourites.
A quick google will get you to most of them or a look at the aforementioned Joyclub.

Flight booked, tickets purchased for der Klassiker, and have accommodation near the airport for now but could cancel.
Looks like Schickeria isn’t too far, but also could book accommodation in Witten and try Treff 83.
Schickeria looks like it’ll be a good night on the 4th, but have you any thoughts on Treff 83? |

Looking at your profile I would say stick to Schickeria.
If the 4th is 4th Dec then it is one of the young dream parties which (so we are told) are very good. However you will have to register, either on JC or by contacting the club directly. They don't accept walk ins for these events.
Also take note of the dress code and the Covid rules in force. They are quite strict on both and the Covid rules are quite fluid at the moment and could change before the 4th.
Treff 83 tends to attract a much older age group and I wouldn't really recommend it for a 30 something couple. |

Just as a heads up for anyone thinking of visiting a club in the NRW region of Germany (which includes Dortmund) Below is a post by a club referring to the new regulations.
"Good morning everyone,
as many of you have probably already noticed, there are new regulations on the all-important topic of Corona!
The numbers are skyrocketing and higher than ever. We are in the middle of the 4th wave and everyone should help to break it so that normality can return to our lives as best as possible.
For this reason, according to the decision of the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, for the benefit and safety of our guests, we have to hold our event as a pure 2G-Plus event until further notice. We would prefer it to be different, but we must and want to protect our and your health. There is no higher good than this!
For you, the 2 G Plus rule means that currently only those who have been completely vaccinated and recovered with an additional negative citizen test that must not be older than 6 hours can take part.
Without a written, negative test result and your complete vaccination certificate and identity card, there will be no access to the club!
Unfortunately, we are NOT allowed to grant access to unvaccinated persons. Not even with a negative test.
We ask for your understanding and hope that you will continue to support us with your visit."

That’s good to know.
Our local clubs are insisting on double vaccinations or a negative test, so good to hear this piece of information and gives some assurance that we’re in the vicinity of likeminded people. |

We've booked a midweek break to Berlin in February, far too far away yet to guess what restrictions will be in place but fingers crossed we'll get to visit a club along with plenty of sight seeing. |
