Anyone know best place to get euros at this moment

We have left it right while last minute as its been so up and down

Any advice please

Hi, yes the post office gives very good rates but pritty much 1 to 1 right now

Wait and get them over there hun, better exchange rate. Use an official gov exchange as they give the best rates!! just back after 3 1/2 mths xxxx

i use TRAVELEX online get a tracker and see how they are doing pick them up at airport with no commission to pay

If your phoning round travel agents etc. Instead of working out rates and commission, just ask this question;

"If I walk in with £1000 how much in Euros will I walk out of the shop with".

Cuts thro all the Bullshit !!!

and what you are wasting in phone calls,may well offset any better exchange rate you may find

We use our zero card in the ATM's and supermarkets.

Went in Jan and got alot better rates business rather than tourist..

At the airport bought some perfume and got 1.19 rather than 1.12 in resort.

ALso dont get charged by my bank so a win win situation.

And cannot wait till sunday.. maybe join you in the dunes. if we can find them and you.. big grin. xx

\euro rate in mainland spain today was 1.15.75....last xmas we were getting 1.12..in puerto rico GC we saw 1 x 1 so does pay to very much shop around...we are over in GC at La Mirage xmas 25th to 5th jan...any one else over there give us a shout....and any feedback about the new bar next to 2 x 2 pretty please..Have a good one .......

The new bar, Sex Appeal, is very nice and immaculately clean, some chill out beds around the bar and a very nice play room through the curtain to the side of the bar, quiet when we went, but tastefully done and well worth a visit, opens at 8pm.
