City break in Europe with clubs near by

Looking to book a city break around April time, somewhere in warm and in Europe so thinking Italy, Spain or France but open to suggestion.

Had a quick look at Barcelona and Madrid which look great and not too badly priced but the clubs seem to be outside the city which isn't ideal.

Can anyone recommend a city with clubs fairly central?

Birmingham

Gran canaria is the obvious choice. Berlin I've heard is a good option although not very warm at that time of year.

Thanks. Gran Canaria maybe worth looking at then.

I have also heard Berlin is meant to be good but as you say the weather maybe a bit unpredictable.

Southampton/London/Bristol

Barcelona,Berlin and Amsterdam hv nice clubs.

I want to go to Madrid,Seville to check it out ,any opinions ?

By far best for April is Gran Canaria.

As you mentioned Madrid and Barcelona, so we will add some info.

Average April temperature in Madrid is LOWER then in London.

In Madrid are few clubs quite central. You can in reality walk there if you stay around Prado or its only 5 EUR by taxi.

In Barcelona clubs are not in walkable distance from city center, but its only 10 EUR by taxi max.

Best club is Oops.

But all clubs in Spain starts quite late. Almost no one arrive before 1 am and almost no one play before 3 am.

Situation on Gran Canaria is just oposite. Clubs open at 10 pm and couples play before midnight. And at 3 am they are mostly empty.

Berlin

Lot of clubs - around 10.

Try to check german swingers web (google it) and there is list of all parties in town. Most are acesible by underground.

But April weather is not welcoming.
