Morning Fabbers,
We're going to Thailand for some much needed fun and we'll be in Pattaya for at least some of it.
Wondered if there's anywhere that locals living their meet? Heard something about a bar called Camel Toe but We're not sure if it's just another go-go bar?
Thanks!

Hey guys
We e been to o Thailand and Pattaya loads of times and there isn't really a club scene over there. You can find couples via sites but it's mainly the bar, nightclub and go go scene. Never tried the camel toe so it might be a winner, if you try it let us know what it's like.
When are you in Pattaya? We're there in 2nd week of Sept and again in December over xmas |

Not looked at penthouse hotel in several years as then it had a bad reputation on quality and cleanliness so hopefully it's improved or need above comment to be verified.
Alternate close to walking Street for me would be lk empress hotel beach view room... A bit over crowded on furniture but a great view off the balcony |

"Hi, planning on going back to pattaya in January, could any regulars advice us on how to do this economically?"
Hi from your location I'd suggest flight from Manchester with a middle eastern airline - Qatar airlines appear to currently have prmo flight prices but sky sca..er will confirm flights
Bus from Airport to Pattaya x 2 will be a minimal saving on a taxi so not worth the fuss
Accommodation can be whatever you want to pay .. best value for money placed I stayed was Blue Sky hotel on Soi 5 in 2014 & 2015, though I didn't see it advertised this year so things might have changed. Should get a decent room for £40 a night if you don't want beach front locations
hope that helps ..... you could go cheaper accommodation in Thai family type bed and breakfast places but trying to find their internet sites will be a challenge

Flights are varying at the minute don't book direct with the big companies go through cheapflights or sky scanner ...we saved £150 on our flights with qatar air by booking through student universe .
Look on booking.Co.UK some great deals for accomodation |

I'd recommend always booking direct with the airline. Great an all as it is to save some money but should you run into any problems then the airline takes no responsibility as you didn't book with them. It can be a nightmare |

Etihad are good on price direct on there web site shortest transfer time no credit card fees and still the longest for return without penalty
Booking .com good for hotels as a lot you can pay at hotel so book for a couple of nights in case you don't like it
Easy then to checkout different hotels in the area
Bus from airport 123 bhat taxi 1500 bhat could try sharing cab

all the lk places are guest friendly.is the empress on beach road? i stayed there it was ok. i wouldnt recommend the lk place on 3rd road opposite soi lengkee its a nice enough place but trying to cross the road at night is just too dodgy.the base and central sea[condos] are decent but occasionally you do get noise if a bar has a party |

Hiya,
We have spent a month at LK Empress a couple of years ago and you will have no problems taking " guests " back, always new faces at breakfast in the morning, as in, same guy / s with different young Thai ladies !! These days we have an apartment near to Soi 6 so just a little further out of town.
