"thinking of going january.anyone been?whats your opinion for a restful holiday,though we do like a bit of nightlife and good restaurants"
Currently there on Sal. Lovely weather and beaches - not as hot as med and fairly consistent year round like canaries. Not well developed, bit like Egypt 15 years ago, best to stay in resorts if you don't want to do too much planning. Lots of Brazilian influences, nightlife limited to resorts  |

We went out a couple of years ago , March time .
Very windy !....but warm . Nice beach but very very little else to do . What entertainment there was was in the hotel . . A few small bars and restaurants about but in all honesty I don't think the islands have 'taken off' how the travel companies and locals would have hoped .
We were on Sal ?? |
