Yeh this is true. We're in stalis near hersonissos but we'll probably get a car to get about. |

We are near Preveli the first week and near Matala for the second. But, like yourselves, we have hired a car to get about. |

Car is really needed to see the island! 
Once in prevedi I would strongly suggest the classics elafonissis
