Wish we were going this year as have been 3x in past two years didn't manage to find any fun .ps ignore message saying it expensive it is no dearer than any other Greek island , you may have to pay a bit more in scenic parts Oia and Thera but back street bars a little cheape , Irish bar in Thera does rip you of , kamari little mor posher than perissa but perissa best place to stay on island , if you want any more tips pm me have a lovely holiday you will love it ?? |

It certainly isn't cheaper than any other Greek island at all.
Went to Corfu the year before and Santorini was a heck of a lot dearer.
Yes you can find little back street pancake bars.
But for main meals and drinks it's a lot dearer than a lot of places.
The beach is by far the cheapest place to eat and drink, but if you head up to Imerovigli or Oia it'll cost you £30 a head for a half decent meal. |

We go to two or three Greek islands every year and found no difference in price every where we have gone Corfu Crete zante Thassos Samos Kos paxos nysarus Santorini we have never ever paid over 35 euro for an evening meal for two including wine . In perissa we struggled to spend more than 70 euro a day breakfast daytime drinks and evening meals , we had snacks from bakery and refilled bottles of wine four 3 euro from supermarkets, yes it is expensive if you want to eat in the main restaurants in oia and thira to watch the sunsets , but we eat early off the main track as we know your not guaranteed perfect sunsets every night , it's more expensive going with Thompson but we went with on the beach flew with Norwegian b&b hotel with transfers £500 for 2 for 7 nights ?  |
