We're off to Dubai in late November for the Abu Dhabi F1 Grand prix
If any single guys are around and can accom in your hotel get in touch Guys x

Adult sites are illegal censored and banned in the UAE. 
There is no chance of us putting ourselves at risk by communicating via FAB or any other adult internet site or social media website once we have landed in the UAE or arranging with anyone already in the country who have used adult websites from within the UAE. (including residents and visitors)
We're really looking for a non UAE resident who's visiting at the same time as us & who would like to make pre entry arrangements including the swapping phone numbers to use to arrange for a drink and chat etc
Bit cloak and dagger but two hands are better than one as they (might) say over there lol

Hi, I will be in Abu Dhabi for that week, from Monday to Monday. Will have my own hotel in Abu Dhabi in corniche area. Would be happy to meet for a drink first and see where it leads. Hope to hear from you both |

Why is it that the people that dont live here form opinions in their head of what its like, then try to preach to those of us that actually do live here of how strict it is? |

Let me clear a few things up regarding Abu Dhabi.
If you use a VPN on your laptop or mobile you can access any banned site. I use FAB mobile site to chat to people and also WhatsApp. Please do not be worried or concerned about how you can arrange meets here. You would not believe what goes on over in the middle east unless you live here and experience it firsthand. The big no no is saying anything about it in social media like FB.
Come over and I am sure you will have lots of fun, ticked a few things off my wish list since living here. |

Actually annoys the life out me when people who don't have a clue about Dubai and how filthy it is, start talkin crap lol if people who live out here say it's fine then trust us it's fine, don't listen to we mad mental Boab from Blackpool without a passport lol |

I've lived here for over 15 yrs. If you have a UAE mobile the sites are definitely blocked. However, some of the big hotels seem to have internet connection that bypass the system and it is possible then to have unblocked access to the sites via the in-house wifi.
Best is to assume no access and use a VPN. And keep off the social media sites.

We're staying in the Mall of the Emirates area.
Does anyone know a reasonable bar nearby thats not going to cost a weeks wages for a bottle of beer lol.  |

You'll struggle to find anywhere cheap out there. Pj's is a popular Irish bar based in Le meridian, all depends what your looking for |

It's Dubai so it will cost you 2 weeks wages
Practically all bars are in Hotels so the cheapest pint you'll find is about 55 Dirhams (about 12 quid at current exchange rate).
A bottle of wine with a meal will be at least 180 Dirhams (39 quid).
Don't look for PJ's as that's in Abu Dhabi not Dubai.

Save yourselves some money by buying your alcohol at Dubai airport duty free before you exit. Think you're allowed 3litres of spirits and about 40 bottles of lager or something. I'm just back. Usually go twice a year. |

Thanks but it isn't alcohol per se we were thinking of mixing and socialising to e_cape the hotel room of an evening without having to sell a kidney in exchange for a bottle of Bud. 
I'm sure we'll manage somehow though.
