Yes Tenerife isn't Cap d'Agde, no "swingers beaches" here, but if you like a bit of risqué fun then the small cove at Playa de la Tejita is about as good as it gets |

We’re curious; we've seen comments somewhere that there is a beach bar on La Tejita but we’ve never noticed one. Can anyone say categorically if there is one? It would save having to take a picnic which is what we normally do.

As a property owner in Sotavento I can categorically assure you there is a very popular vibrant bar/cafe on La Tejita Beach. It's title is ' Chiringuito Pirata ', but generally called the 'Pirates Bar' by the British community. You can access details of the bar on TripAdvisor. The only drawback, if indeed it is one, is that it is located at the other end of the beach from the main naturist section. Enjoy your trip. C&Ax |

All the years we’ve been going to la Tejita we never knew there was a bar there but have now googled it and found it. We’ll probably have lunch there rather than lug a heavy picnic about when we next go, sometime later next week.
