We have booked a cruise with Royal Caribbean on The Independence of the Seas, sailing from Southampton on the 14th May 2016 for two weeks around the Med.

We went on the same cruise, same time a few years ago. One of the best holidays we've ever had! |

Make sure you wake up early and go to the front of the ship to view the approach to Lisbon.
It's wonderful watching the sun rise behind the suspension bridge as you gently glide into port under it. You will never forget the sound of the traffic above (think bee swarms) as you pass underneath. Then look back and see the highest part of the ship pass within a whisker of the bridge!
