Lost count of the times ours or others bar bill was wrong Seems the norm., that you end up arguing over what you supposedly had. Fair enough you don't pay to get in, but if they want to fleece you why not just just put up prices, its a bit more honest and upfront. The minimum spend is fair enough,previous years watched some make a water last all night. |

I went to the come back bar and poison last week, come back was very busy drinks are a little more expensive than normal bars, a pint was less than £3, most clubs are about 30 euro's to get in for single guys including one free drinks, there seemed to be plenty of local single guys in there, overall had a good time you will enjoy it |

Which bars are rip offs? We there mid November and don't mind paying more for quality surroundings. We reckon comeback bar might be very ordinary with high prices as usual because sex sells.

pay as you get your drink .we did that at comeback bar to save getting ripped off.got ripped off at 2x2 on the one night we where there.we paid at the end at poison. i was keeping tabs on what we drank and was correct the whole week . great bar and trustworthy .we will defo be going to poison on our next visit in june, cant wait |

Pay as you go we got ripped off last week as did friends of ours in fun4all so pay for your drinks as you get them... didnt think comeback bar was expensive..2 bacardi's (large measures) and 7up ..9.00 euros and great buzz in it.. secrets club very good and eternity all pay as you go if you choose but 2x2 is bar tab only.. watch your bill |

Secrets ? There was no choice to pay as you go. They have a minimum spend of 11 Euros,,,which they were charging people who only came in,had one drink ,didn't to me,cand left.
As I said no problem with minimum spend ,,everyone has to make a living, but secrets was pretty bad when it came to leaving and trying to settle your bar bill. Totally out of order,,saw it time after time.? |

Spent a week in PDI. Comeback bar for us was similar prices to bars around other areas. Huge spirit shots to ( to big actually ).we went to secrets twice. The first night we paid as we purchased the second time. I am sure we got had over. Only had 5 drinks and it was nearly 60 euros. Due to be quite intoxucated I didn't cause I scene. However on future visits will Definetley pay as we buy our drinks.
Club was ok. Jacuzzi was good. How've to lots of single sleazy locals. Mrs said no on various occasions and they still didn't get the message. Not good. |

We had the same problem last October in one of the clubs. Us and two other couples went in and had a few drinks and they tried to charge each couple around 100 euros! We wouldn't mind it if we had d*unk that much but none of us had. They even charged us for the towels they threw in the bed as we're all playing  Had to argue the bills at the end of the night which really spoilt a good night |

There all getting the same and also we seem to have had bad nights with some of the spirits there cheep local brands not really dure what's in them
2x2 we found the worse
For getting ripped off and also the young single guys are a right pain they don't take no for a answer some guy was fighting in there last week police called horrible atmosphere as well
We have lost faith in most of them now and a lot of nights there so quite

On the matter of suitable bar for meeting and socialising Poison quite simply the friendliest, most relaxing and honest regarding prices and bills. The couple who own and run it should be the standard the others aspire to. They are not long open and deserve all the patronage going. They have plans to expand their premises and honest, respectful swingers would serve their own future interests best by lending their friendship and support.
And, no, I am not on commission just truthful. |

Gran Chapparal centre is just off Ave Tiriajna up the road from Riu Don Miguel about 10 minutes walk. The bar is in the main square behind the doctor surgery xx |

We was there last year July time we went to the comeback bar and the prices was ok and we went to 2x2 and the prices was good in there too the owner Chris give us a free drink and if our bill was 32 euro he would say just give us 30 did that every time we went it so no complaints from us |

Pete.nat Wondered if you were talking about the "Mac bar" , had a crackin few nights in there last Feb, German run, beer well priced, even has a tele in the toilets so didn't have to miss any of the Champions League footy !

Maybe it's expensive and yes sometimes you can be wrongly charged but that's life and it does happen in the UK too.
We always enjoy ourselves and where else is there so much choice ? Don't knock it too much as if the swingers bars and clubs were suddenly closed we'd all miss them. Keep the moaning to the playrooms !!!! Lol,Happy Hols. xx |

We have been going to 2X2 since the club opened and can honesty say that we have never been over charged in fact on several occasions we have asked Chris if he has missed drinks off our tab. It seems a shame that because we are used to paying for each drink as we get them at home we are unable to trust a different cultures way of paying for drinks, there again not all cultures go out to get legless and lose track of what they have ordered or the cost of a round of drinks. |

Nearer the mark than you think, as the local govenments developers Gesplan propose bulldozing the Cita & replacing it with a 700 bedroom hotel !
Seem's most of the bar/clubs owners would also be in favour provided they get "fair compensation"

This wouldn't suprise us, the CC Cita always seems to be in a permanent closed state, especially by day!!
Only part of it wakes up later at night (basement bars / clubs and German bars upstairs), the rest of the time it doesn't appear to get much footfall at all.
If it was to be replaced hopefully the bars / clubs would relocate...not sure where to though. |

Lots of empty shop units already in Cita and loads of the basement units vacant..could see how a hotel would make better economic sense...prime location for one.
Few empty basements units in La Sandia though, that the clubs could move to.... |

Never had any problems at all maybe it's just that drinks are a little more expensive than vanilla pursuits but this is because none of them charge entrance fees and you can move on if your not enjoying a particular night |

Would it be called " Mach Bar ".
It is a very popular bar and as a single male I noticed a meeting place for Germans. I've had many a good night there before walking down to Fun4all just below .
Have a look around if your there. They advertise on local radio in Germany as a place to meet up in PDI

Also back on topic, prices are on the high side in the existing swingers clubs and bars.
I have never been over charged in any.
But having to pay 20€ for each club regardless if they are busy or not.
Martyn in the Come Back Club was the only place who never used to charge that if it was quite.

No it was closed Thursday's but they have started the meet and greet now. From 8pm and 2x2 VIP card holders get happy hour. It's a nice little bar prices are same as everywhere else they also do have a small menu for snacks. Saskia and Tonny are a lovely couple whom I know from the 2x2 club. Every other day it's open from 3pm and it's €3.50 in a taxi to la Sandia centre. Give it a try xx |

we where speaking to one of the waiters in yumbo at buddys.we where looking to open a bar at cita. he told us not to as the roof is crumbling in cita and it will be getting raised to the ground. he didnt know when but did say it will happen. just hope they relocate the clubs . we love gran canaria for fun. it just wouldnt be the same without secrets, poison, comeback bar lol

We have also heard this from Pedrinho bar manager at the sandy beach hotel last week
Lots of rumours that cita is being turned into a hotel

Hello,
we live here for a while, talk every day to many people and know about the rumors: They are about 15 years old  .
The most people who say this, are not in cita, have you noted this .
There are so many owners there, that it is nearly not possible to compensate them.
And look: In the last 3 months, there is a flood of new openings, only a few examples: Bar towards Westfalia (1 week), pharmacy at entrance (today), massage shop in the 1. floor (2 months), Boutique Brussels (1. floor near Comeback, 2weeks), FullSwap (Basement,SwingerClub, 2 weeks), Poison (3 months), Plan B (2 months)...soon sex cinema (basement near Fun4All) and a few bars we know about but may not talk about yet...
Ask anybody about Anexo 2, Faro 2 and Kasbah and you will get the answers, that they will be pulled down also in a few months... For example Faro 2 is empty for many months and so there nothing happens...

Why don´t you ask us, when we write, we know?
It is at an angle towards to Venus and towards to Romeo and Julio at the other edge coming down the stairs, it opended 2 weeks ago and couples have to spent minimum 10 Euro for drinking like everywhere so no risk to look. We do not recomend clubs because everbody has a different taste, but it´s clean and nice. |

No, serious, we do not recomend in this way, because in a few clubs there is more party in others more fucking, some bars are only meeting points and in others you can do what you want, so it´s everybodys own taste what he likes...
