Albufeira is super touristy. I was there 3 weeks ago. All the bars are the same. Once you seen one, you've seen em all. The only thing i would recommend is going for a meal in the place the make cataplaner i think it was called. Beautiful food! The only thing particularly different.

I was there last June for a stag party. Clubs and bars all in one place on the strip, it's ok for what it is, I was only there for a weekend, think a week would be too much.
