. Has anyone travelled there by Eurostar?. I would like to try it but they do not appear to accept bookings a long time in advance . I think if you pay a little extra for your ticket you get a meal and coffee?. |

I like that you can set off with a champagne breakfast in London at 8 am and be in Agde for 4.15 and be having a cocktail at Sunbeach a half hour later  The slowly evolving journey quite appeals and makes a difference to the security hassles at airports. |

way to go is get train down and cheap flight back - the return fare is usually made of two equal single journeys - if you see what i mean - so maybe a Eurostar for 160 one way and a flight back for whatever you can get ?? |

. Thanks . I had not thought of doing it one way . I may try it on the September trip as I have booked all my other flights already except for August and I guess that Eurosrar will be very expensive during the French National Holidays

You dont need to worry about booking way ahead for June unless there is a particular package you want. June is still at the lower end of the price spectrum. |

Some years ago we tried to book with AGN - specifically their chic & luxe range in September. At the time they had 35 - all fully booked! Also they only do 7 nights & Saturday to Saturday. |

As a general rule if you want good quality accommodation you do need to book ahead . At the end of June you are getting closer to peak season prices .

In the past we've used "naturist.de" but some of their places leave a lot to be desired.
More recently we have used "Peng France" and always been happy.
We usually book in January although last year we did leave it a bit late (May) but still got a decent apartment.
As usual we will be there late June/early July next year.
Also as usual we will be driving down.

. I always found the service from Peng France to be to excellent . However they lost my businness because they were totally inflexible on booking dates . They would only book Saturday to Saturday with no exceptions . I had written down the number of the apartment which I wanted to book for five separate weeks as it had a stunning view .
Luckily for me a member of fab rents out apartments and in addition to providing top quality accommodation they are also completely flexible on booking dates .
I am unable to name the member as it is deemed to be advertising by fab and they award you with a forum ban. |

This is a guess, but as any weather forecast will probably fail to predict seven months in the future, here ( gulp) goes.... It will be warmer in Le Cap d' Agde than Southampton.  |
