maspalomas or playable del ingles

... well there's "La Mirage", swingers complex, never been there ourselves, we just booked a package holiday on the cheap.
"Playable" des Ingles is where all the clubs are, but it doesn't really matter if you end up in Maspalomas as taxi's are dirt cheap there.

Maspalomas is more of a built up area of hotels,apartments and bungalows.No town as such,whereas playa del ingles is a town with many shops bars restaurants and nightlife.both are very close to each other,about 5Euro in a taxi.
We ourselves prefer pde close to the clubs and nightlife. |

If you want high quality accommodation go to Meloneras (next to Maspalomas), Maspalomas is mainly apartment complexes but as said taxi rides from both areas into Playa del Ingles are cheap. Playa itself has seen better days with many hotels and shopping centres a bit run down but its where the nightlife is- so it depends what you like, the beach and the dunes are great wherever you go  |

I live in Maspalomas it takes 15 minutes to walk to the Yumbo and 25 to the 2x2 club in flats add another 5 to 10 minutes in heels and you also have a short but steep hill to go up. Taxi fares start at€2,40 before 10pm €2.95 after. |
