We may have the opportunity of visiting Cap d'Agde in early April but we were worried about whether it would be warm enough and busy enough at that time of year. Can anyone please advise?

Well at the moment it's hardly bursting at the seams. In fact it's quieter than it was in January. But in Le Cap you don't need a crowd for a great time

One or two diehards naked during the day but using the dickometer it's still chilly. Out of the wind it's still not exactly hot but a zillion times better than UK.

We're a bit inland from Cap, but the last few days have been really warm. We've had low 20's on our balcony most afternoons last week, but guess it's a bit cooler on the beach, as the previous poster has said.

Last March we had a couple of days sunbathing on the beach, but that was exceptional.

The campsite opens this Sunday, 15th so a few summer residents will be arriving soon.

As to whether it's busy enough, only you will know. If you are here for Easter week you'll be joined by quite a few French, Dutch and German visitors and the clubs get busier.

We'd say give it a try.

Have Fun....

Thanks very much to both of you for the advice. On balance it sounds to be a bit if a risk weather wise so we may save Cap for a bit later in the year and head for more guaranteed warmth in Southern Spain or the Canaries.

Sound move.

The boss needs a guaranted tan for a wedding in late May and despite our place in Le Cap we are off to GC!

You're right about the weather. It is a it of a gamble at this time of year. When it's nice it's great, but it can equally be chilly.

We've had winters in southern Spain recently and there's no doubt that it's almost guaranteed sunshine.

We may try GC or Tenerife next winter....

Chickened out of going to Cap so early in the year and booked a week in Meloneras GC instead. Still get chance to be naked on the beach and swing in the evening but just have to remember to wear clothes when we go shopping!

Thanks for your advice!
